My stay in Europe lasted from November, 1997 until
August of 1998; but I
started the actual European tour at the beginning
of March and completed
it in mid April. I traveled on train from Hamburg to
Geneva, Milan, Venice, Florence,
Sienna, Rome (Vatican), Nice, Cannes, Monaco, St. Paul,
Barcelona, Madrid and finally to Paris then back again
to Hamburg.
Venice, Sienna, Rome and Paris were the highlights of my trip,
while Madrid, Cannes, and Monaco were by far the lowest. Except for
Barcelona and Hamburg, it was my first trip everywhere else.
The entire trip was overwhelming, and I tried to take as many photos
as possible, considering the weather and little amount of time I had. I
tried to capture the cities through my own perspective and through my
own lenses. Enjoy.
