Critique & Vision

An Afghan Journal of Culture, Politics, and History

Dedicated to the publication of articles, research projects, and book reviews in the area of Afghanistan studies, C&V is intended as a multidisciplinary journal of humanities and social sciences. It aims to reach a broad audience which should include not only Afghan specialists and academics but also the wider, general public interested in Afghanistan. C&V should also be of interest to students of the Middle East and Central Asia.

The journal invites the following types of contributions:
Articles that deal with Afghan literature, art, and culture, criticism of individual works or authors, poetry and short fiction; studies that deal with history of Afghanistan, particularly the “modern” period’; essays and research articles on or about Afghan politics, institutions, state and society, and foreign relations.

Relevant works from other fields are also invited.

C&V appears twice a year. Annual subscription rates:
Individuals: US $16.00
Institutions: US $20.00
