From 1st Issue: July - Sept. 1997

Personally I'm very touched with overall aspects of this newly published magazine. I'm also very proud of all especially the publisher, Farhad, who is not only my brother but also my dearest friend.

Clearly each one of you had a lot to offer to this magazine and the successful results speak for itself.

Just completed copying the entire magazine. I'll be honored to distribute to all afghan families in my area which may not have access to the WEB.

Congratulations to all on the publication of the first issue of Lemar-Aftaab and looking forward to reading the future ones.

Regards,
Roya A.

I want to congratulate you Farhad Jan and the rest of Lemar Magazine workers. It is indeed a very beautiful magazine. I have read all of the articles. I found the article by Sister Sonya Shefayee one of the best and hope she will continue to write more on this subject with greater depth. Afghan Youth in The West is truly something exceptional and deserve attention of intelligent minds to dig further to the complexities of their life and their encounter.

Best Regards

Great Magazine!!!

Salaam. I would like to say that I am thrilled to see an Afghani online magazine. I think it is about time someone did it. It looks great. The articles are very thought provoking and the poetry are full of emotion, culture, and moral. I think that this is just what the Afghan online community needs. A place to go where you can actually see the true essence of our people and our country, not some watered down political perspective. Keep up the great work. Khuda amryetaan bashad. Thank you very much for your excellent article about Mahmud Tarzi. I think in the present dark and tormented time we need such reference.

Thank you very much again.
