(cover picture) Caspian Tigers(Panthera Tigris Virgata), native of the mountains of Afghanistan are almost extinct. In April 1997, a pair of this big cats, which were probably the last representatives of this species on earth have been captured in Laghman, Afghanistan. This may be the end of life for this highly endangered species on earth.
